The
Cevo
tileset is based on the tiles of
Civilization Evolution
. Many tiles in that set appear to have been copied without permission. For this reason, we no longer make Cevo available.

The
lexxy
set is a combination of the (IMO) best features of all existing tilesets, with a few new ideas thrown in. It's my personal favorite (as if you cared). For the full effect,
the multi-dither patch
is needed (the tileset is perfectly usable without it, though).

|
Isotrident
is based on the overhead trident tileset (the default). The small units and cities result in probably the greatest clarity of any tileset. For the full effect,
the multi-dither patch
is needed (the tileset is perfectly usable without it, though).

Micro-isotrident
is also based on trident, but using a smaller tilesize on the logic that trident cities and units are smaller. It can get crowded, but it does display more of the map at once.

Hires
are the isometric tiles distributed with Freeciv 1.12.0. They don't support some of the latest features (such as oil wells and full fortresses).

|
Rhires
is a reformed version of hires.

|
Trixxy
is a combination of lexxy and isotrident. It doesn't include any of its own graphics, so it is just a spec file (i.e. takes virtually no space on your harddrive), but requires the other two to be installed.

The
iso-Engels
tileset is based on the overhead Engels tileset. Not much work has gone into the conversion, so there may be some rough edges.
